I have always liked Jerry better than Steve. He was an original punk rocker. The Incredible Kings , The Elegants and founding member of Moby Grape. Not to mention a brief trip in to El Paso, Texas to play with Bobby Fuller and the Fanatics. He was always first into the coolest things.

I was lucky enough to hear Moby Grape several times back in the days... They were consistently as good as the best, maybe better! Steve Miller was pretty good and one of my favorites back then too... And of course that Other band we all (how do you spell "obsess") on...

If I'm not mistaken, didn't Jerry Miller and a few other "grapes" form a band called the "Rythem Dukes"...I recall seening them at what was once the Family Dog out on the Great Highway in SF.
